I bought this ages ago and finally got round to reading it this week. The book is made up of a series of emails between University friends Jess and Rachel. After Graduating from Brown University Rachel moves to New York and Jess jets off to Beijing. You follow their lives for three years as they communicate with each other on a weekly basis, keeping their friendship alive despite the distance.
This candid novel is extremely easy to relate to not just if you enjoy travelling or have graduated from university, but if you’re a young woman trying to find your place in the world. The girls learn so much in the immediate years after graduating and you can’t help but laugh, cry and cringe at their adventures.
