A Year Without Makeup: Tales of a 20-something traveller by Stephanie Yoder

That’s the thing right? While your twenties are tough and emotionally exhausting, they are also pretty intense, fun and awesome. That’s the reason I’m so keen on people travelling in their twenties. It’s such an intense time, when you learn so much about yourself, and travel just accelerates the process.

This quick and easy to read book was an absolute delight to read. I read it cover to cover in just a few hours and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stephanie has put together her years of blogging about her nearly-RTW into a compact book giving you advice and stories about her adventures.

She shows you that sometimes things don’t go to plan, and that’s ok. She realised that her life turned out to be an amazing adventure when she ditched the spread sheets and followed her heart.

If you’re looking for a novel to become engrossed in this isn’t the book for you, but if you want something light to read on the beach whilst you plan/ imagine all of your future travels this is definitely something for you. I for one know I’m now wanting to go to China, so thanks Stephanie for inspiring that!
